As Spring nears its end, we figured it wise to hike up to southern California's hidden gem, Descanso Gardens, before the summer scorching begins.

150 acres of land, over 3,000 roses in its rosarium, a Japanese Tea house, an art gallery, a 22-room mansion, but most importantly... DUCKS. We dragged along our G Pen Elite as usual to enrich the already majestic views.

The Boddy House, designed by James Dolena, is the 22-room mansion offering some unreal views of the botanical garden. Can't help but imagine the "turn up" possibilities in such an extravagant place.

The utopia is conveniently cozied up to the Angeles National Forest resulting in an abundance of fresh air & cool breezes flowing freely.
