I can’t seem to remove the stainless steel tool from the mouthpiece. How exactly do you detach it?

To prevent unintentional unscrewing from the mouthpiece, the threading on the stainless steel tool is reversed from the connector to the base of the atomizer. Twist clockwise to unscrew, and counter-clockwise to tighten.
