{"id":1261,"date":"2017-10-24T20:12:00","date_gmt":"2017-10-25T00:12:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ca.gpen.com\/blogs\/news\/arizona-adventures\/"},"modified":"2017-10-24T20:12:00","modified_gmt":"2017-10-25T00:12:00","slug":"arizona-adventures","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ca.gpen.com\/fr\/blogs\/news\/arizona-adventures\/","title":{"rendered":"Aventures en Arizona"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ca.gpen.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/STZ9121_2048x2048.jpg\" alt=\"\"><\/p>\n<p>As the weather gets stranger\u00a0and pandemonium of the world swells closer to an apocalypse, we decided to\u00a0voyage out to Arizona to enjoy Mother Nature before it&#8217;s too late.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ca.gpen.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/STZ9077_1024x1024.jpg\" alt=\"inline-image\"><\/p>\n<p>Home to some of the most beautiful red sandstone formations and hiking trails, our first stop was Sedona.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ca.gpen.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/STZ9106_1024x1024.jpg\" alt=\"inline-image\"><\/p>\n<p>Word on the desert highways was\u00a0Red Rock Secret Mountain Wilderness hosts an extraordinary view, so we filled our water bottles and\u00a0began our ascent.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ca.gpen.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/STZ9157_1024x1024.jpg\" alt=\"inline-image\"><\/p>\n<p>After a trek just shy of two miles, we made it to the largest stone arch in Red Rock Country,\u00a0<em>Devil&#8217;s Bridge.<\/em>\u00a0As much as we wanted to spend the whole day there, we advanced northbound to our next stop, Antelope Canyon.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ca.gpen.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/STZ9228_1024x1024.jpg\" alt=\"inline-image\"><\/p>\n<p>Comme d'habitude, notre <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gpen.com\/collections\/g-pen-pro\/products\/g-pen-pro\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">G\u00a0Pen Pro<\/a>\u00a0\u00e9tait de la partie pour agr\u00e9menter l'aventure.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ca.gpen.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/STZ9302_1024x1024.jpg\" alt=\"inline-image\"><\/p>\n<p>Connu des Navajos sous le nom de\u00a0<span>Ts\u00e9 bigh\u00e1n\u00edl\u00edn\u00ed, qui se traduit par &#8220;<\/span><span>the place where water runs through rocks,&#8221; Upper Antelope Canyon formed by flash floods and erosion over thousands of years, smoothing the sandstone into a remarkable passageway with walls reaching 120 ft.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ca.gpen.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/STZ9028_1024x1024.jpg\" alt=\"inline-image\"><\/p>\n<p>Dans l'espoir d'atteindre le Grand Canyon avant le coucher du soleil, nous avons roul\u00e9 vers le sud.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ca.gpen.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/STZ9449_1024x1024.jpg\" alt=\"inline-image\"><\/p>\n<p>Designed by architect Mary Colter, the Desert View Watchtower\u00a0is meant to resemble a watchtower of the Ancient Pueblo Peoples. Hopi artist Fred Kabotie painted murals throughout the structure that depicts mythology and religious ceremonies of the Hopi culture.<\/p>\n<p><strong><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ca.gpen.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/STZ9549_1024x1024.jpg\" alt=\"inline-image\"><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>One of the most celebrated and studied natural wonders of the\u00a0world, the Grand Canyon boasts an immensity over a million acres, sustaining five of the seven life zones.
